The Motion to Lead Project is a youth nonprofit rooted in Orlando, Florida, dedicated to empowering the next generation We believe that every young person deserves access to practical business education, leadership training, and mentorship, regardless of their connections or resources. Whether you're launching a nonprofit, pitching an idea, or finding your voice as a community leader, M.T.L. provides the skills, confidence, and networks needed to lead with purpose. We offer these essential tools free of charge, fostering stronger communities through the empowerment of our youth.
Our Initiatives
Four programs built to meet young people where they are and give them what they need to move forward with confidence.
Business & Entrepreneurship
Workshops, pitch competitions, and our Elevate curriculum teach young people how businesses and nonprofits actually work — grounded in real-world application, from business models to budgets.
Leadership Development
Leadership is a learned skill. Our programs build decision-making, communication, and strategic thinking through hands-on challenges and real opportunities to lead within our community.
Mentorship Programs
We connect young people with professionals, entrepreneurs, and community leaders for one-on-one and group mentorship — guides who are genuinely invested in each participant's growth.
Community Outreach & Events
We bring the community together through pop-up workshops, partner events, and local initiatives — ensuring the people who need these skills most are the first to receive them, free of charge.

Equip 100+ Youth Annually
Reach 100+ young people each year with our Elevate curriculum — covering business, negotiation, and public speaking — completely free, with no barriers to entry.

Launch 5 Community Partnerships
Partner with at least 5 local schools, organizations, or businesses to bring M.T.L. programming directly into the Orlando communities where it's needed most.

Build a Chapter Network of 25+
Join us in creating local chapters that build a diverse network to business and civic challenges. These chapters foster collaboration and empower participants to community issues effectively.

Support 10 Youth-Led Projects
Help at least 10 participants launch their own initiatives — nonprofits, small businesses, or community campaigns — with our mentorship and training behind them.
